Eleanor Conway's Comedy Rumble

A LATE NIGHT, RAUCOUS INTERACTIVE COMEDY FIGHT

Critically-acclaimed Eleanor Conway is brought her hit Comedy Rumble show to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012 & 2013

Her brilliantly debauched performance earned five star plaudits at last yearʼs festival and enjoyed a sold-out, five-month residency at The Comedy Cafe, laying the foundation for this yearʼs run to cement Eleanorʼs place as the Queen of Late Night Carnage.

Eleanor brought her special brand of controversial comedy and audience participation to this yearʼs Glastonbury Festival, performing on stage to a staggering 3,000 fans. She has also been warming up for her Edinburgh show by taking Comedy Rumble to Londonʼs exclusive memberʼs club, Soho House as well as  sell out dates at The Comedy Cafe Theatre.

Comedy Rumble is the late night show where the audience and 2 comedy contenders unite on either in the red or the blue corner and round by round battle it out for points.

The show uses audience members and 2 comedians to create a raucous comedy bun-fight, with two teams entering a boxing ring to outwit, embarrass or just gather more laughs than their opposition.

In a series of rounds, contestants and comics will be given the opportunity to battle for points the comedians using their comedic wit and the audience fighting for bonus points via unruly, outrageous, and increasingly booze-fueled revelations.

Those who arenʼt called into the ring to divulge their deepest and most embarrassing secrets or most hilarious tales, might instead be bestowed with the greatest honour of all – that of the ʻround girls,ʼ who strut their stuff in a desperate search for bonus points.
