Old people [read those over the age of 35], generally bemoan the increasing move to networking and communication and industry online.
I bloody love it.
I love it in the same way that I loved going to my first outdoor party.
I love it in the tingly feeling I felt getting on my first long haul flight.
I love it in the sense of accomplishment I felt after jacking a copy of Photoshop to my laptop using only 4 old floppy disks, whilst 100 Korean teenagers smoked fags and played World Of Warcraft somewhere in a basement in Western Korea.
Why we didn’t torrent or buy it, I’ll never know.
The fact I can ask for tech advice, social advice or strike a conversation and make that connection with someone out there is still amazing to me.
A comment from a stranger can really make your day.
Woah, deep Conway out. Will finish this post off later, before I buy puppy or something.
